How much money is a lot of money??
Ive played alot of older mount and blades and having about 300k seemed like alot. on here it seems to come and go like nothing. is the new standard like 1-2 mil until your starting to be wealthy??

A bribe to a clan leader to defect to your new kingdom costs usually around 250k on average. Per clan. So yeah, millions is what you need. Easy to do though if you win battle with decent Roguery. Lotsa loot to sell. Gotta visit 3+ cities to sell all your loot in a day.

I currently own about a third of Calradia and run around with 500k. During War, I was up to around 2 Million.

I do not think you need to own more than 2 Million at any point in the game.

I tend to not want to be a vassal until 2-3 million. and Be king until 10 million (if I can help it.. and they dont make me king sooner).

And I wont start a Kingdom without 10-20. (though I CAN DO it with less... it is more back and forth)

With 10 million you can fund armys, recruit lords, buy gear, buy food, lose troops, replace them etc...

With 200k... and a new kingdom, your WHOLE life revolves around getting NEW money, so you can get MORE troops, get a second party, hire mercs, build buildings, buy food, get better gear etc...

So yeah.. 3 million is probably what I'd shoot for.

Good news-- It's easy with smithing. (long. but easy)
Bad News- most other ways are slower, or not as good. early/mid game
Great news-- late game, ALL ways are super good (workshops, caravans, towns, BATTLES. BATTLES, BATTLES, smithing etc).

up to you.. have fun

You can do it with way way less, but it is harder and slower. you can get captured, lose all troops, lose all cargo escape. Go to a town, Spend all your cash on gear. Throw it away.. so you have zero.. and as long as you have SKILLS (stats) and a weapon, you;re fine and can recover.

edit: some people are full of it, and their fantasy doesn't match reality.. just saying

Yeah bro, go and farm 20 Million Denar before starting a Kingdom, that explains your 3000 playhours. Probably still farming.

Oh be nice.

RJ is an ass, for sure (anyone who disagrees with him is a noob. No seriously, any dissent of any kind he immediately labels you a noob/moron).

He is being helpful to new players though, and he is having fun playing his own way. I'd say you have fun doing what you want, Kanji Words Man, and RJ can do what he wants. Everyone wins.

I'm not going to spend 3k game time hours farming like one user above me posted. Repetitive activities are not fun.

also correct..

but fortunately over the last 2.5 years.. the game has changed multiple times, in multiple ways. So it's always "kind of a new game".

and now that release is out, mods will be on the menu.

But even still.. yeah 3000 is too much.. for sure *hangs head*

read his last sentence. We gotta have to make sure to put a disclaimer under every boxer post that nothing he says is true and should be ignored. Imagine telling a new player to farm 20 million denar before starting his Kingdom, thats fun.

dude.. you are obviously a troll, or Becky.

Not sure which, I didn't say anyone to do it. I said HOW I DO IT, because it's easier, and less drama.

You are the one who cant read. and has ZERO idea what u are talking about... ever... as u prove over and over.

I said I can start with way less. can start with ZERO.. basically anything u think u can do, but for sure can not.. I CAN. But for a new person.. MORE money is better.

For a lazy person like me, who's done "everything" multiple times.. and is just trying a new strat, or a new strat on the new patch.. I do Lots of dough.

It's obvious you have no idea what u are talking about. So quit stalking me ...

U know that is bannable right?

L2p then cry about correct things..

and for proof of your constant nonsense and lies.. Where did I tell him to "get 20 million before he can start a kingdom"

Nothing against you at all, everyone is entitled to spend their time as they freely wish, but 3000 hours, which is 125 days, that kind of time is way too valuable for me than to commit that to bannerlord, let alone any video game for that matter

its all good.. I know where u coming from. and take no offense. Trust me, I aint saying "hey look at meeeee... I got 3k, cause Im cool".

I say it, because some people who write in forum are dumb. you can see that in this thread alone. So when I tell a new person. "hey siblings help the game".. and some noob argues it. I can say "well maybe, but at 3k hours.. and many many many campaigns.. I've never seen them NOT help"

again.. I do agree with ya though.. 3k yikes... (and its actually a bit more than that.. which is worse)

I'm usually at 3-to-5 million. I then give a bunch to my vassals to improve their morale and other money to bribe clan leaders to grow my kingdom.
