Doesnt affect taxes. Got village with 1200 hearst and taxes are about 340 gold. On the other hand i have another village which produce horses with 350hearts and income 900 gold ...so basically irrigation does nothing and hearts affects nothing.

Village goods sell for different amounts so taxes vary, or are you saying both your villages deal in the same commodity, to the same town?
problem is mainly due to prosperity vs food, food is kept 18 i.e. max level due to hearth at villages but prosperity isnt making game unbalance as towns with very high prosperity is so prone to starvation which really doesnt make any sense as there is no way counter this... so towns with high prosperity will be easily starved as it always runs out of food making storage redundant....

All what i say is that irrigation and hearts does not affect income from village or at least not dramatically. It doesn't matter if your village got 200 hearts or 1200 hearts difference will be max around 200 gold.
Not mention that for village 1200 you need years.
Doest it worth ?
Spend years of irrigation and protecting village from raiding just to obtain extra 200 gold ? Its up to you. I say owning village was far better in warband. Here its just a fief on your list.

My grain village was about 1200 hearts and tax income around 350 gold. Village with horses 350 hearts and income around 900 gold. So mostly depends on trade goods.
There are some villages which tend to have good taxes. But as far i can say it is bassed on production of village and in small scale on hearts.

Villagers no longer have determined destinations. Castles now work as village extensions to towns, so while there is still a cap on propsperity limits (I think its intentional to maintain world balance) its potentially higher now than it was before 1.0.

Horse villages can produce startling amounts.

At one point my village of Forin was making over 2000, far more than any other holding. Even now at 900 it's more than any other individual holding except for the cities.
