Good trade routes for 1.0?

So, I've been away from the game for a year or so have jumped into the campaign and wanted to start off by leveling up my trading again, I tried to do the old buy Aeseri warhorses and sell them in vlandia trade route but found that this doesn't seem to be profitable anymore. Vlandia has a lot of their own horses and after the trade penalty I could barely make any profit, and was making more just with basic trade goods.

Just wondering if anyone knows any reliable trade routes for the release version.

Since the workshops, and thus what goods are going to be plentiful or in demand, are randomized, it's difficult to suggest trade routes. Best thing is to travel to each city, see what each produces, and go from there.

Fur and dates, seen alot more wood workshops since release so wood as well. Could be the RNG

Is it just random people in the tavern? I talked to a few but didn't see any useful information.

the caravans also give you some insider knowledge you might find useful if you ask them about it
