They cant code crossplay between steam and epic? But they can release the game on consoles? which requires having to learn and understand the codes of the systems (not as hard as it used to be but still time consuming)

I doubt it. I have never heard cross play even mentioned.

I believe it's been said it's cross generation (prev gen xbox and playstation with their current gen counterparts) but not crossplatform.

how can you not add cross-play between PC? yet you have time to waste porting to console
