Personality traits
Hello!
I watched the bannerlord personality wiki "https://mountandblade.fandom.com/wiki/Personality_Traits"

I have a few questions
I found some stuff im kind of wondering.
The calculating. I have not seen getting it at all. How do you increase this trait?

Also i found the quest manual labor.
Does anyone understand when you get minus mercy and when not?

Thank you in advance for helping me out to understand this!

The trait is easiest to earn during character creation. According to some in game text, Calculation can be gained by not getting involved in needless fights. I'm trying to poke around some more and see if I find any other references to personality traits, they should be in the game scripts somewhere...

Last time I checked you needed to free 50 lords or persuade them to defect, I don't remember any other way of getting calculating "points". Though they may have changed things.

Some missions will always result in loss of mercy or honor, and should be avoided if you want traits.

Well i have defeated every single lord more then 30 times and have not gained any trait from realeasing them. I even have a mod that shows me trait progress still nothing.

I don't know if it means free them after a battle or free a friendly NPC from captivity (which doesn't seem like a very reckless thing to do and not very calculating), I just read it from some wikipage.

A post from 2021 on taleworld forums suggest convincing enemy lords to defect is the only functional way to get calculating points unless they have changed or fixed something since then. Though as the other post said you can get it at character creation, as your selections lead to different traits at start.

Thank you very much for this information! I have not really deflected enemy lord in large sums so i have not seen any trait reward. I as well have not tried with the mod to deflect so it might work. I have to try that. Still im grateful for your information! And the character creation feels like cheating to be honest so its not really an option for me. But thanks for suggesting!
