Supreme emperor achievement

How does it work?
Do you need to conquer the whole map with your kingdom or you can also do it with an existing kingdom?
Or maybe you need to personally conquer/own every city/castle in the map?
Because it says 2/120 even if my faction has no settlements.
By my surprise the Freedom achievement was not the end of the storyline so I don't want another surprise.

I got it by making my own kingdom. The ai lords you recruit can help you achieve the achievement. I dont think you can do it with an existing kingdom, unless you are the leader of the faction.

To me it seems impossible at the moment, I got 32 clans under me and despite having around 103 settlements there are rebellions all over the map and my lords are too slow to quell them so I have been moving around just retaking settlements that rebelled but still I can't get anywhere near the required 120 despite being able to destroy any army.

I'm thinking about executing enemy faction lords but since I get negative relations with pretty much everyone I assume clans will just leave my faction and join the enemy making it even harder to do anything about it.

Give the fiefs to lords with the appropriate culture...how has this slipped by you up until now?

Vanilla game is garbage, it's almost impossible to conquer the map because there are too many rebellions, the new clans join the enemy and make them stronger and you can't destroy factions "normally".
It's also impossible to complete the storyline because there are 3 unstoppable wars.

Just download the mods achievements unblocker, harmony, kingdom destruction, RTS camera, RTS command. Then idk if there are mods with naval battles yet, if so the game would become complete.

I joined the southern empire and we conquered the lands of the northern empire, western empire, vlandia, battania, half khuzait and when Rhagaea died I became emperor. The lands of vlandia, khuzait and battania were always rebelling, the remaining of the defeated factions were taking towns back and the new rebel clans were joining them plus sturgia, aserai and khuzait were declaring war on me and my vassals didn't want to make peace: it was a complete mess so I gave up. As soon as I installed the mod Kingdom destruction the 4 factions were immediately eliminated and the game became playable again.

I do not have problems with rebellions, even when owner clans culture is different. Try to pass as many kingdom policies that increases loyalty for settlements.
