Pad or keys, what do you use?

I have played warband for many years using a mix of both, easy movement with left hand on joystick and fast accurate looking direction and combat controls with right hand on mouse. best of both worlds i find.
Sadly this game wont allow me to continue with it, as the mouse look directions get glitched out by the pad look directions conflicting.

I cant use just keys as my very hard working hands cant be hovering over keys for long, and I cant just use pad as the mouse control combat is one of the best features.

So i'm stuck with having to choose one or the other and retrain myself after playing this way for years, I don't want to have to change my control style :(

If you want to use controller get a ps4/ps5, xbox. If you want to use Keyboard then get PC

I have a wired xbox pad, as I said ive always used both in warband for the reasons above, keyboard movement sucks especially with my very hard physical job, and pad combat sucks as the mouse combat is the best part for me, in warband i play with one hand on each (left hand pad movement and right hand mouse combat).
This game no can do!
When you assign your key bindings the mouse look gets glitched whilst the pad movements are being pressed, only when you are stood still can the mouse look work when you have forward and back assigned to a pad.

Is better control support coming?
Just like it was in warband is all I need.
