Xbox - Controller - First Person - Make it toggle..

For the PC..

I've played M&B hundreds of hours over the series and never once bothered with first person outside of zooming with ranged..

I picked this up on Xbox and played with it on Steamdeck and noticed they've mapped the First Person Toggle to be the Left Stick Press.

I don't think anyone at Tale Worlds thought or play tested this as the number of times I've accidentally toggled to first person is just stupid.

On steamdeck, I can remap the keys.. no issues there.

On Xbox, you can't do.. so you are forced to use an almost annoyingly unplayable design.


The simplest fix.. Put a toggle in the config to disable first person view. If its not used by most of your player base, it doesn't need to be a forced feature.

The fact that the controller design allows you to accidentally switch views in the middle of combat, seems like an oversight... Especially given how easy it is to do a press on the left stick when blocking with movement.
