Am i the only one who feels the game lacks content?
I remember buying this day 1 early access dropped, was interesting then and thoutht wow over the years they are going to add alot of big new content. But now the game is released in full i find it really lacking in content, i am not saying its a bad game itself its just not great or really goes beyond gameplay wise of its predecessor.

I just feel bummed out, i really wish there was more to it and in depth. I know mods add alot of flare but the native base game i think after so long in development should of been alot better. Just my thoughts.

I agree so much, we are just doing the same stuff over and over. Battle, loot, sell, repeat. Town or business management doesn't require any supervision, 90% of mission are go there kill this or kill whoever attack my caravan/village.

Even despite that, there's so many just downright fun killing or absurd mechanics.

The kidnapping mission for example, i thought what a cool mission that changes the pace of the game.

But no, the only option to kidnap is just fighting his army and beat it ...

First It takes ages to locate the dude you are supposed to kidnap, you most likely gonna have to wait even more for him to be in a position you can kidnap, like not in a settlement or big army, and once you kidnapped him he'll free himself before you deliver him. I had nobody but him as a prisoner, this high priority prisoner is just going to manage to free himself ? You spend an hour to get him kidnapped just for him to evade almost instantly. How is that enjoyable to anyone ? Who thinks it's cool the guy just freed himself and teleported back to his castle half a world away and there's nothing you can do about it.

A game created by a Dungeon Master would have you be able to track the escaped prisoner using tracking skill and possibly get him back.

But Bannerlord abandoned RPG systems.

I'm not even asking for a new mechanic, i understand they can't do everything like adding some sort of tracking, but how is that one VIP surrounded by 80+ dude gonna evade in enemy territory ? It's just random and tedious after a mission that was already random and tedious.

Probably not but you might want to prepare yourself for the Bannerlord defence force.
Look out the QQ kids are here, if you need salt for your margritas just follow them around the forums lol. I mean kiddos acting like dev went "1.0 ok done, never ever touching this again!" And they dabbed out lol. Instead of them going "were not even close to working on this and more to come but feel like its ready for 1.0" And they are all "last time a EA said 1.0 they left and took all their money, I can't handle that again, please some one I need a safe zone!"

There's already a tracking skill. To implement this feature would be maybe a few lines of code?

If you asked nicely enough, a modder could add this feature pretty quickly.

enough to send you guys into a tizzy frothing at the mouth and trying to bring him down.
.
It's not sending me anywhere and no one is trying to "bring" him down.
This is not a battle, it's a forum where everyone can post ( almost everyone ) and opposing views doesn't mean we need to start WW3, we're not politicians.

I don't mind reading criticism, when it's well thought-out and respectful.
These devs have worked 10 years on this game and shi.t.ing on it with falsehoods isn't right.
Yes, the game lacks a few things. So what? The devs aren't done and they said so themselves so give them a freaking break.

I am liking the game ,but if its not a finished game, it should still be in early access. Not trying to flame you, just want the gaming industry to release their products completed.

You come across as someone who has been on this forum too long defending this game that you can't be objective anymore when someone simply states their opinions.
You could be right.
I enjoy the game. I'll leave the whiners to whine needlessly.

The "defense force" types, despite all their projection, generally seem to have way too much time on their hands.
Yep, enough time to enjoy Life in nature then come home and build an empire in Bannerlord... Life is good.

Yeah feeling the same way honestly, I think people on here tend to go to the extremes of it being amazing and perfect or completely terrible. I don't think its a bad game by any means but it is......underwhelming as a sequel in my mind. It seems like most of the new or expanded mechanics and game systems still feel very unfinished and calling the current state of the game version 1.0 does not seem appropriate.

I know TW has said they'll keep working on the game, but I think a lot of people have fears, and honestly pretty justifiable ones given how many other developers drop EA games unfinished these days, that later down the line at any point they can now say that after the 1.0 release it's in a good enough state and halt development completely. Time will tell I guess.

Nawh theres otheres that feel taht way, but its a sandbox game and now with lots of mod support so I wouldn't fret :) I'm enjoying vanilla plenty but just like minecraft you make the game into what you want it to be

Nope, you are not the only one

We been silenced, attacked and we are still here, and the other people hate us for it and continuously try to over ride us and push us away

but you cannot bury the truth deep enough, it just keeps resurfacing

it is a bummer it has ended up as it has as a Full Release Early Access Mod Platform, at best

I too had better hopes, all crushed by this result and further stomped on by people who think this is ok

we are experiencing some very strange things, people are becoming just so radical and extreme and lacking in any empathy at all or tolerance for anything outside of what they want their world of lies to be

Most people who complain about the game not being like Warband doesnt even own warband. Its more likely these posts are created by 5 people from som degen discord. Loud minority.
Actually no, ive been playing bannerlord since the beginning of EA and i completely agree it lacks content. Ive played warband as well, and its a superior game in mechanics. "Go play warband then" im assuming someone might respond, and i will and i do! Doesnt mean I dont want to see this game succeed and become better then warband.

I dont disagree but i do think it still makes a fun and decent game at the end of the day so im satisfied. But i do want more.

Developers seldom produce enough content to keep the unwashed masses unquenchable thirst for content sated for very long, this is where the mod community eventually steps up and dreams start becoming reality (in theory).
