Four of them are giving me 0 income (such as the Pottery shop in Pen Cannoc (supplied by 2 villages...), only one is giving +200 a day.
I think it's currently completely bugged.
Same thing with the caravans, they produce during 2-3 days then stop (disapear from your income list) then after few days the caravans will come back in your list and will start to give you a small income again...
And I don't use any mods.
So I'm not the only one then, cause i have experienced this both without and with mods, and have listed all the ones i am using, but a silver smith that is in ortysia is usually a gaurnteed good income from one shop. i have always made a silver smith there and its always been the most profitable of my shops now its not generating any income at all and its been over a week in game time. somethin funny about that fellas.
How much beer on the market?
They had 0 supplies to make stuff from, so i changed the outcome, and the cash began to flow again.
You simply can't make beer without grain
Ortysia doesn't even have an bound village that do grapes. The bound villages does; Grain, Salt and Silver..
If you run a workshop and it doesn't make any income. Check the market in the city and see how much of the product is on the market and check the price. As with real life. You can make a ton of stuff, but if no one buys it you wont make any money from it.
Now THIS is how you ask for help. Well writ, OP.
I haven't had the opportunity to play with workshops in 1.0.0 yet, but they were prectically throwing money at me in 1.9 so I will have to do some experimentation this evening. I'll let you now what I find out, along with any tricks I manage to figure out how they work now, if they have changed.
i built the winery because of the video you linked it was one of the recammended workshops plus it was an opturtunity to test a differnet workshop to see if the issue perssisted and it did, when i say i am literally generating 0 income in over the span of a week and then swith workshops and still generate 0 income over the course of a second week i mean i am literally not making any bank, not with a silver smith, not with a winery, and i suspect not likely with any other workshop in game.
i let the silver smith sit for a week and nothing changed it over toa winery let that sit for a week and still 0 income, i havent a clue whats going on, but given some of the other replys it seems i am not the only one affected by this issue and caravans are also affected. oh bother.
Then you're not doing workshops properly. When streamers, other players, and myself can have profitable workshops and you can't, that should tell you it's not the game. Either that, or you have a mod that is messing ♥♥♥♥ up.
Here is the thing...
If the town belong to one faction.... and castles around it belong to another. The bound villages for those castles will go to closest town of their faction to trade their goods. In case where close castles have bound villages that supply what your workshop need, but then owner of town or castles change faction owner. It will mess up your production chain.
