No. that is EARLY game.. yeah. wars are not an issue when u are weak.
the problem is when u have half the map.. and/or your Kingdom power is stronger than the next couple dudes.. your lords ALWAYS want to go to war. ALWAYS. with multiple people.
And then they don't take fiefs.. or DO take them, then don't protect them. So end game turns into "whack a mole" you try to Capture/Re-Capture the same five fiefs over and over and over and over.
You are Western Empire, but your allies want to war with Vlandia, AND khuzait, AND sturgia....
You might get lucky and Northern Declares on you. Then you MAY be able to propose a vote for peace with eitehr Vlandia, Khuzait, or Sturgia..
To keep the game moving late game it can take THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of influence per month.
patch 1.8 makes it easier than the patches of the last year. but it still gets into "ai is dumb and sees u have 20k power.. so figures lets declare on next 4 most powerful... and not defend our stuff"
And they also love "hey lets Propose removing the MAJOR important Policies. (i.e. the Culture ones). So now you have to spend influence to declare peace, then they dont want. To war (with the CORRECT enemy, to move in a certain direction... i.e. wipe out Khuzait.. so no one can come from behind u. etc). And overrule them trying to remove Culture policies and Enact the one where "tier 4 clan costs double for the ruler to over rule".
You can be spending 10k+ influence per year. Every year. that's a lot.. for 81 days in a year.
