Will there be an update for release?
I've been wanting to start a new game when the game is complete at release, but will there even be a new update at release or should I just start a new game now?

Hopefully there is an update since the game is kind of broken right now
If onGovernorChange doesn't get you, the fact that lords never sell food and grind to a halt will.

Yeah I'd really hope they'd fix game breaking bugs like that before release. I was really hoping there would be a way to craft armors too, but it's not looking like that will happen. Maybe a future update or dlc.

I mean the crafted weapons are glitching out - perhaps they should fix that before adding craftable armor. Also a weapons always look the same on any character - an armor not = more glichtes. Even the non craftable armor sometimes glitches into another part. Like leather gloves and the like. I don´t see that happening. Perhaps they add custom armors as micro-transactions. That would be great. :o)

Anyway: i don´t think that they will add anything really game changing to the game. Like guessed they will probably add more banners and those bearers, so players are able to individualize it visually a bit more for them, but i don´t expect mayor differences in the gameplay. The game won´t be "complete" at release, whatever that might be. There will be bugs and there will be patches. If You´re willing to start: do it. Get the grain bug fix from the nexus, because TW don´t seem to care that much about it.

They are going to fix it, dude calm down.

Updating a game isn't a case of releasing fixes as soon as they have them, they put them in batches, so just be patient and use the mod until then.

Yeah but this is tale worlds were talking about. What you described is something other dev teams do. There are issues in the game currently that have been there unaddressed sense day 1 of early access. For god sake man, we don't even have an exit to desktop option in the esc menu. We have 2 different buttons that take you back to main menu instead, that have been like that sense day 1 of EA. They can't even do that right...... Don't get your hopes up on any big change for the full release.. Guarantee they reached the point of where they can't afford to spend anymore money on fixing their mess of a development cycle, and are about to high tail it out of here a month or two after "full release." I hope i'm wrong, I really really do.

We will be releasing more patches around and after release.

They are banking on modders to do their job for them like every developer seems to do these days

The game hasn't even been released yet....Seriously, wait until they release it before you say they won't do it.

I am willing to bet that if they do fix the grain bug before release you aren't going to be coming back and saying "I was wrong".

I will gladly say i was wrong if this game gets it together and remembers what M&B is, or that the game is excellent, instead of bad rather. There is already a long time popular and successful game out called M&B after all, its not a mystery. :steamhappy:

It is already leagues ahead of vanilla Warband and the other vanilla M&B games.

Now, if you mean to compare to mods, thats different and Bannerlord will eventually get most of the warband mods anyway.

Cant even ally. Its a disaster.

Is making character fat still in game ruining the player character created? Does the player randomly die from disease and other things? Is player character progression tied to something other than the player character?

Its a total disaster and M&B 2 does not have even one ounce of self respect as of now and isnt even close to how good M&B was.

You mean the whole mechanic of aging/risking death in battle and needing heirs? Thats one of the selling points of the game, but you can also turn that off if you don't like it....

Also, how is player progression tied to anything other than you? Sure, you have a clan, but you are the head of it.

M&B 2 is so disgusting i wont play it at the moment. Same with Cyberpunk 2077 and other games, its nothing personal.

Your reply is also so twisted its disgusting. It is.

Just like Cyberpunk 2077 and other games, players are being forced away from their purchase by revulsion and thats a really dirty move and even worse how its being done.

Dealing with this level of poison isnt easy. Its spammed on the forum and for years to,

I'm not sure why you're saying M&b was better. I played bannerlord first and then tried warband, so I don't have the perspective of enjoying the first one and then waiting for the second one. I only played a couple days of warband because the graphics were so outdated and the UI was awful. The dialogue had some random problems and the combat wasn't as smooth. Though it did look like there might be more things you could do in the game. I hope they'll add some of those things into bannerlord, but why did you like warband more?
