Knock hole in the walls and walk in? ;p
If you are not able to take a feif to create a kingdom. You are by far not ready to create a kingdom..
When I decided on what area I want to create my kingdom in. I start wage war with the faction living there. I spend time and grind them down and cature every lord I can and keep them as prisoners in my party. Over time they can field less and less parties. Once I feel I'm ready. I siege a castle, starve out the garrison, use trebs to knock hole in the walls and walk in.. In my current campaign I captured most of Battania before I even made a kingdom.
By this time in the game I'm maxed out steward, clan tier 5 and picked up a few perks that increase party size. Also there is A LOT of grind involved in capture lords and reduce their ability to field parties. All of which help increase my "war chest" needed for expenses to recruit lords and deal with war decs later once I establish the kingdom.
Should i disband my party's for now?
Also should i disband my party's then or are they still doing good? They never even tried joining me during this war lol
Edit: in the siege make the strongest siege thing and storage them till you have all 4 build before you start actually fight with them

As soon I see, my kingdoms army is on the way to a rich city I would have for my clan, I just join them.
Usually my clan wins this city.
Or I build an own army with troops of companions and colling the troops of lords of the kingdom. And conquer the city I would take for my clan. Or 2. Or 3. Or 4.
Mainly very rich cities close one to another.
After that I build all what makes city stronger and brings more stability.
As soon I see, my clan is wealthy, strong and rich enough I leave the kingdom I serve with all cities I got and found my own kingdom.
