Will There Be Cheats In Bannerlord?
Hi I was just wondering would they be adding cheats in this new game just like in warband? I really hope so because I really enjoy just like making my character MEGA OP!!

I think they ought to add cheats, because they are very useful when testing mods.

Yeah cheats are needed to test things, but I think there should be a bit of a drawback. I think the best way to do it would be that whenever you use cheats on a save, that save gets marked as a cheat save and you can no longer earn any achievements when playing on it.

And if there does end up being a co-op mode, cheats definitely shouldn't be allowed in that.

With the nature of Warband and if Bannerlord is similar, there have to be cheats. Taleworlds went out of their way to accomodate cheats so I see no reason why they wouldn't do so with Bannerlord. (The outrage, alone, if cheats were absent would be well-worth avoiding.) They'll be similar, I would think, and would be toggled from the launcher/main menu. I wouldn't discount the possibility of a dev command/shell, either, considering how this franchise lives to be modded.

There is also something that is called "Cheat Engine" so you won't have to press ctrl + x 10,000 times

If you saw the vid where it was a siege and the guy was on the walls and he had a two handed weapon and was a nord he healed himself and there is also a console in it soooo i am guessing it will be cheataable or whatever... Cant wait to get an elite army of nords day one lol

Yes there will be cheats. U can see it by yourself in the 30 minutes videos. They almost die a coupple of times and they had to use crt h sometimes.
I hope they add some new cheat, like restore ammo, and a faster way to improve troops than crt x. (Well in Warband u can do it with 2-3 and then use cheat engine to add all u want)

But if the game is as highly moddeable as they said, then we can do our own cheats maybe :p. Like... Ctr+x give 100k xp or money instead of 1000.

I did used and auto Hotkey script a lot in VC

i never used cheats, had no idea they existed in Warband. To test things it's okay.

They can lock away the entire console and you still can have cheats.

If they don't directly add cheats then someone will just mod them in anyway.
