oh give an example of this ? because history shows that it takes far superior troops to make epics. do regal us with your historical knowledge of how highly trained elites with the best gear money can provide get beaten by starving peasants
Did the looter take his armor?
Viet Nam
Oh do regal us with your historical knowledge i would love to know of these many moment when starving peasants beat elite extremely well equipped experienced professional soldiers and lets face it a cataphract is a middle eastern concept and they were of noble birth and trained from childhood, they didn't usually die in combat in fact these heavily armored troops very rarely died unless dragged from horse back and had very carefully poked in an an arm pit or eye slit. Roman and Greek historians point that arrows couldn't even penetrate their armor, the horses had the same at the very minimum on their fronts so a wooden pitchfork would splinter well before going through it.
correction, they didn't win against the US they won against the South Vietnamese which relied on the US and without them didn't stand a chance against the VC
Video or it didn't happen. Also test this 10 times and tell us the outcomes..
wrong...
The First Crusade (1095-1102) was a military campaign by western European forces to recapture the city of Jerusalem and the Holy Land from Muslim control. Conceived by Pope Urban II following an appeal from the Byzantine emperor Alexios I Komnenos, the Crusade was a success with Christian forces taking control of Jerusalem on 15 July 1099.
the only failures of the first crusade was weakening the Eastern Roman empire
unless your saying the crusaders where the weaker force
"This call was met with an enthusiastic popular response across all social classes in western Europe. Mobs of predominantly poor Christians numbering in the thousands, led by Peter the Hermit, a French priest, were the first to respond. What has become known as the People's Crusade"
this really depends on a lot fo factors... tactic, terrain etc. in history you have battle of Turin where Constantine managed to kill cataphracts with light cavalry (flanking and superior tactics) Battle of Yarmouk same thing ..... etc. its really not that easy to say ..... Cataphracts are shock cavalry - so not really for prolonged combat awesome when charging thanks to their heavy armor but that armor can be not so usefull vs much faster and nimble opponents especially if you loose momentum ....
"Duel?" What do you mean, here?
And, when is a 1:1 unit vs unit outcome meaningful if it's not the player being discussed?
This is about as meaningful in a playthrough of Bannerlord as a blurry picture of Bigfoot.
