Anyway, until this gets fixed, I have used the mod My Little Warband to give them a stack of horsemans javelins, which they seem to be able to use.
Looking forward for the question...no, you can't just delete "not stackable" flag in the crafting pieces, it starts crashing the game. And i even tried to create my own pilum with same stats and everything with xml modding and it's also doesn't work cause my mod uses meshes of the original one. I'm looking for other variants for change that, but doing devs job is kinda suck.
