Cant offer hand in marriage for brother?

Is there any reason why this would disappear? the only option is never mind. I had just visited a lord so I can do this, saw the option but all of my denars were not enough to seal the deal (24k) so I went to the city to sell all my things just to see how much they would charge to marry Arwa and now that i have 58k the option shows only 'never mind' instead of my brothers name. Both he, and arwa have no spouse yet. But idk for how much longer...

EDIT: Im basically worried that...like the dialogue rng game where if you fail once you can never the person, this option you can only propose once and if you are rejected (because of lack of gold) forcing you to cancel the proposal you can never again bring up with the head. Is this what it is or is there a cooldown period?

So.. basically. I tried to offer the hand of my brother in marriage for lady arwa on winter 6, couldnt afford it (couldnt even see how much he wanted for it. I couldnt even offer anything else to compensate, such as horses but ok) so the proposal was considered cancelled. I then gained denars in a nearby city by selling off a bunch of stuff and came back now the option is no longer there. I waited 6 days and by winter 12 the option is still no longer available. I really fear Its locked forever now.

Assuming the cooldown isnt something crazy like a year and then itll show again it doesnt seem fair to lock the player out for not having enough denars if the game doesnt tell you how much they expect beforehand. If im wrong please correct me.

I had this same issue, I tried to marry my brother off, it was like 50k+ or something like that.. in year 1 lol. That was insane, I backed away.. got the 50k. but he could never marry that girl .. I tried OTHER lords and they wouldnt take him either. So yeah, it gets "locked" and bugged somehow. I basically reloaded an older save.

I (or someone) really should put in a tech ticket, but I'm too lazy lol

is that to report bugs? where do I go to do that? ever since the update ive found a new problem. bannerlord has began to crash on me incessantly and idk if this is gamebreaking or not

You are in the "Forums" under GENERAL DISCUSSION.
If you look to right side of the forum page. you see other sections. TECH SUPPORT is the second highest one (right below general discussion). And the bug you mention just now.. is there (well NUMEROUS "I crash a lot" bugs are. So I'd check to see if it's same problem as yours. If it is. Reply to it. If not, Create a new one.
