How do I take prisoners?

At the end of near every battle, the game displays "dead" and "wounded" casualties. Shouldn't I be able to take them as prisoners??? Lords and their armies I have no issue with. But I suspect they're a special exception to whatever it is that I have to do in order to take prisoners from other armies!

All wounded troops become prisoners as the battle ends.
Wounded lords have a chance to escape the capture any after.

It depends who gets them if in an army/multiple parties involved.

For some reason you can't take conspiracy troops.

Conspiracy troops are special named troops that only appear during special missions if you do the banner quest.

What version do you use and is any mod included?
Do you get the window for choosing prisoners after battle?
Are you the only party engaging the enemy?

1.) Currently on e1.6.5. and no mods are included

2.) No, I only get it when I defeat a lord's army. All others, I just get the loot screen.

if there are wounded enemies...

after battle before the loot screen there will be a troops you save that you can recruit.. and the bottom section would be the wounded enemies..

you can transfer them to your side on this screen. it SHOULD do this... I have never seen it not do it. after this screen comes the loot screen.

Only time I don't get prisoners when there are enemy wounded is when I have a small party in an army and we don't do enough damage to get a share of the prisoners.

I know it should. It only does that when I defeat a lord and their army. No others. :(

Well, theres my battle results. So, I guess I should have taken 2 prisoners here. But I simply went to the loot screen.

You get a way more prisoners if you use the blunt weapon.

Thats not the issue.
He seems to have bugs preventing him from getting any he should have gotten in most cases.

Yes, the screen offering prisoners should have come up. Have you previously had mods and un-installed them? They can still cause problems.

Can't see or read any issues with how you do it.
You said it works if you fight an army, it should works same all the time.
