the system splits the map into about 148 parts and we only have 72 battle sceenes so far.
probably because that area of the map is not in the game yet.
well, the maps are meant to look like the region they represent on the world map so if its the same plain field just with a few trees or other stuff like a rock or something than it kind of should look that way on the battle map as well.
though we will see how it really will be once all the required maps are implemented.
By all means. Show them how it's done.
There are plenty more features that are still missing amongst which was the supposed criminal empire thing, it seems very strange that instead of finishing what they promised first they went off in this extremely time consuming tangent for little to no apparent gain other than to see a somewhat similar map in battle, which quite frankly i am not convinced is even worth the time, Warband had none of this battle terrain system and yet was still a better game
Then play Warband. In fact, play vanilla Warband. No mods allowed at all. I'll be waiting for your report on how much better unmodded Warband is.
well, after the system is implemented this will no longer effect development time for any of the things you mentioned, map/level desingers are not working on a criminal empre system or the combat or anything else that involves coding features/systems so them making the missing maps which is the largest part of the work that has to be done for that system wont effect any of those things.
also combat being better in warband is a very subjective thing, i personally prefere bannerlrods combat but thats just me.
Vanilla Warband combat was more fluid and consistent. I was never a huge fan of the wonk physics so I'm mostly fine with Bannerlords combat, but chambering barely works, spears barely work, and the combo mechanic makes feinting obnoxiously difficult. Then add on the fact that the only combat speed they give you is the equivalent of Warbands slowest combat speed, and then I understand why people complain. And that's just to start with some of Bannerlord's issues. Warband combat wasn't perfect but neither is Bannerlords. Both have their ups and downs.
Your combat speed deppends on several factors. Skills and weight of armor...
