I found the save file location and a folder called native with an old save in it. Deleting it just makes it reappear once I start the game again. I'm guessing steam cloud downloads it back on maybe? Oh well whatever...idk why we cant just delete from game

With the game running in the background open
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Game Saves
Delete the old files and then switch back to the game and exit out.
Steam will then update the cloud saves without the files you just deleted.
Restart the game.

With apologies for the necro post, but just wanted to say thank you for this solution. I haven't played Bannerlord in awhile and had some corrupt saves that I was trying to figure out how to get rid of. This did the trick for me.
