not a bug, the Aserai are based on the Arab tribes just before the great Islamic conquests of the seventh century.

Calradia is a totally fictional continent that took inspiration from real world peoples and cultures. However, religion is something we have no intentions of exploring, with the main focus of the game being on the combat and battles.

Arab tribes from the desert didn't eat pig before Islam too. So yeah, It's a kind of bug.

Literally post above yours, a dev saying that the Bannerlord world is totally fictional and religion is not even part of the game. So clearly not a bug of any kind.

It's not just a matter of religion. Desert + pig = a big no.

health wise, pigs need wet lands not a desert, so it was bad for everyone.

No race card being played here. Just asking about pigs hanging out in the desert.

Or Culture beyond simple bonuses and troop trees. Every culture is exactly the same in the game aside from visuals. People asking for religion are engaging in a misguided attempt to feel some actual cultural differences in the game from devs not interested in it.

Cultural differences do not exist in game, they exist as lore fluff never to set foot into the actual game events. Forbid that different regions might have different laws/quests or treatment of players of specific backgrounds.

Just like religion, no intentions of exploring those things, immersive things. People can pretend I'm wrong, but the patches since EA launch speak to how little interest the devs have in this.

Except sims, they love things that they can run a million sims of. Because that wouldn't require them to actually play the game they are making.
Callum just stated no desire in adding religion to the game. Guess you just need to rant?

People need to just relax

Im a bit upset this game has turned out to be arcade, the focus on combat is great but the game lacks so much.
