Not saying who pays tribute

So it’s really frustrating me, but when I’m approached by my council and voting for whether or not we should make peace ! It dosent actually say who will be paying who for tribute ? Or does it somewhere !? I end up just accepting it and ending up being the one paying, even though I might be the one winning the war !

When you click on the war screen on the kingdom page at the bottom it will tell you the % chance of people accepting and how much tribute is paid to who ever get's it.

Is that the case when you get a pop up and your council are all voting if you should make peace or not !? Because once your in that window you can’t seem to do anything else other than vote, but like I say I don’t see where it says if you will be paying the tribute, or if they will be.

Tim is correct. At any time before the "forced" vote you can see who will pay who. Once the vote icon pops up and you are forced to handle the decision there is no text/indication of the agreement.

What I do is once I get an indication of a offer I immediately check the Diplomacy screen to see the details. I do not wait until it is a forced issue.

Do you mean you check it before you click on the pop up vote button? I didn’t realise it would show before you clicked on it ?

You can click on the Kingdom (K) tab, then Diplomacy. Select the enemy faction you want to view. The details of who will pay who and the amount will be shown.

You can click on all menu's as long as you are not in the "forced" popup Resolve Issue menu.

what about when you hire a mercenary clan like the Forest people? They say "if you can afford our wage/demands" and you can say yes or no,, but no info on what they want anywhere. Is it possible to view what they demand somewhere?

As far as I know you cannot see what mercs cost. I suppose if you click ok and you get text stating you cannot afford them, that is the only notice you get.

is there any reason why we cannot see how much they want? is it best this way? idk this game is perfect for most guys on this forum.

Oh yes I forgot about that !! Plus when I hire them they just leave after a few days anyway haha! I don’t get mercenaries. Too unpredictable
