I can see the angle, though.
But why complain? You wan't some generic 'immediate music' 'power piece' instead?
Bannerlord music has melody, which is something that has gotten a bit rare.
No, it's not stolen.
The original, wonderful, opening theme by Basil Poledouris for "Conan: The Barbarian" -

And, why does it resemble that music?
One shouldn't have to guess, right? It's a theme injection... it's setting the stage for the player by using well known techniques that are nonetheless reminiscent of Conan in pop-culture memory.
It's like opening up a "Fairy Tale" story with "Once upon a time..." When someone does that, the reader knows the sort of theme the writer is going for, right? Well... that music is attempting to set the mood and tone for the player right at the start of the game.
If you aren't hearing it in the movie version, listen to this one. From Conan Exiles.

many people noticed when they came out as well.
In fact.
This classic sounds a lot more Conan than the Bannerlord one does. Bannerlord merely has some vibes, but this here, for example, that's full on spirit of Conan.

Edit:
In fact, I'd go as far to say that for me personally, I'd be disappointed if I heard the BL theme in a Conan game or movie. Bannerlord is really good, but to me it sounds more laid back than Conan music. The opulence simply isn't there, which I actually enjoy.
Bannerlord is/should be more refined than a barbarian.
Edit: And of course I know that Conan was somewhat of a scholar...but again.
Here's what you can do with BL: You can easily hum or sing or whatever along its melodical parts, they're almost dainty at times.
You can also go along with something like this:

But you'd probably just be going Braaahhh brahh brahhh while lumbering about musculousouly and wearing a couple of wenches as shawls.
BL just wants to have a little bit of timpany and brass action but doesn't want any trouble, sir.
