I know it is surprising that a company which makes music actually succeed in selling it to more than one customer.
If you want to know who Taleworlds hired to compose music for Bannerlord check out Finn Selinger.
That's even worse that TW had to seek the license rights for permission to use their music, instead of allocating the millions in their budget chest for a composer to create an actual original soundtrack for bannerlord. They probably could have afforded a high profile composer like Hans Zimmer if they wanted to. Most games have their own individualized soundtrack. Look at Halo, Skyrim, even Call of Duty. Those games are examples of having composers that tailored music specifically for those games. Video game music has a lot to do with the identity of a game.
Is the Two Steps from Hell music even used ingame, beside the trailer(s)?
That is why Bannerlord also got its own music. Not that other companies did not also buy Two Steps from Hell songs for their trailers...
The game's soundtrack is also non-exclusive. This is confirmed in the in-game credits, as someone posted in this thread. There is music in the game that is not unique to the game. Borrowed/stolen assets. That is the argument.
You can argue that not having a complete unique soundtrack is lazy from Taleworlds side, but claiming that they steal things is a bit far fetched is not it?
You are aware of what copyright infringement is?
Everyone knew it was TSFH music.
Everyone cept the big brains in this thread.
It was prolly one of the best choices they ever made.
You are aware of what reaching and changing goalposts when the previous accusation falls utterly flat is?
Last I checked, TW doesn't own TSFH.
Why thanks Shaun -) I take that as a compliment! I won't lump you in with him either, He come across as a "Sidney Powell" clone -)
So did you get it on epic gamestore, gamepass or something? Steam it's not?
