Yeah, you only need a 275 level perk, to be ruler of a faction, clan tier 6, successfully enact two specific policies, and control a large number of cities. Then you too can successfully field a 600 unit party.
Or you can you just form an army, at clan tier 2, as a vassal, with no fiefs, no skills, and no needed policies.
And why should anyone become a vassal?
As a vassal you swear loyalty and when you break it, you are a traitor.
Never swear loyalty, when you want become a faction leader.
