Can you lock garrison so party members don't grab troops from them?
I just noticed that parties from my clan, that I had in an army, will take units out of my castles garrison when I enter it.

I'd like to be able to lock the garrison, or maybe lock various troops, so they aren't pulling things out that I want to be left there.

Strange. My garrisons decrease only due to starvation. And increase due to parties disbanding. Companions never add to or take from garrisons.

I have never seen that happen. But I do not have any mods installed. What mods are you running?

Invite one of your parties to an army and then "inspect troops" and take all of them. Enter a castle you own with them as a party of 1 still in your army and that should do it...maybe "wait for some time" and then see.

I had never seen it before until today and I have 1200 hours so I'm guessing it only happens if they have no units and are in an army.

what happens to me when i enter a town with my companion not in full party is that they recruit troops but not take from my garrison...
but then again i never tried it with them having 0 troops...

Does it happen when you visit a Town instead of a Castle?

It sounds like they're adopting normal Lord behavior, but the garrisons there are somehow being seen as normal recruit units. If it doesn't happen with Towns, it could help narrow down the problem.

I never seen this happen. I think you have glitched save/companion. Send bug report and upload the save.

Enter a castle not a town, and you have to actually own it.

Oh well if YOU'VE never seen it before it must just be my problem. Thank god the guy who knows everything about everything showed up.

Yes, it must be your problem because it is only happening to you. Try to see if all companions do this or only one specific.

As to direct answer to your original post:

You don't need an ability to lock the garrison as party member are not supposed to grab troops out of garrison.

As a community service, I am telling you that your irrational anger is misplaced and that you are in danger of getting banned for lashing out with personal attacks.

What you experienced is very likely a bug that is unique to your game. The appropriate response is to report it to TW. The inappropriate response is to treat it as a feature. Even less appropriate response is to lash out at people that try to explain to you that what you are seeing is likely a bug.

Dawg, if you are like a community mod or something then TW has really bad judgement.

I've only seen it on a castle. I had my companion parties in an army in the castle, I then inspected their troops and took all of them, stuck them in the garrison which was then 100% full. Then I may have exited and rentered at some point, or just waited there for some time, and suddenly they have half full parties again.

They seemed to fill up to that 40% mark that parties generally need to be in an army so maybe it's something to do with that.

Go watch my twitch stream, same name, in a few minutes I will show you how to reproduce it.
Im having the same problem. And I think that its because the party leader thats taking from the garrison is a family member. Also the garrison is full (not exceeding capacity but full) and when I bring their party in the city they take about 40 troops like 20 fian champions 10 legionnaires and others. So is there a way to lock the garrison by now or is it still unresolved.
