Best workshops atm?
It used to be smithery at epicrotae making 3k alone and manurath about half of that then it became tanneries making 300each at prosperous western empire cities but now..
now Idk I think its still tanneries but I hear they are fixed they make only 200 max each now

If anybody knows better please reply I need profitable workshops.

Well, if it is any consolation we have a thread about this every day almost, so there should be an answer on page 2 or 3.

But more helpful, someone added 1.5.7 workshop guide a few days ago and it is a link on the main community page... I'll go get it.

I can't link directly to it, just scroll down a bit and it's right in the middle.

The one I linked is completely up to date and goes by all 52 towns in the game. Most of those are old and outdated.

I've already actually watched those videos. Well I guess Ill just try those 120-200 generating workshops and caravans that rake in 30-400.
Smithing is too tedious.. its really really annoying. Bying daggers and making em high value swords is easy cash but training smithing.. argh

The workshop thing is going to be dependent on your play through in a lot of aspects. Pick towns that are relatively safe from warfare, so no border towns unless you know the factions are good buddies. For example, Marunath is good for a smithy as it has 3 villages delivering ore to it, but probably not a good idea if battania is at war with vlandia and the western empire. Another Good example is lycaron and Phycoan. Wool weavery in Lycaron or buy the brewery in Phycoan, but if the neighbor factions are burning their villages, probably also not a good idea.

Just use some objectiveness and common sense and you'll be fine. Opening a tannery with no cheap and direct supply of hide isn't smart, nor is it good business for example.

marunath gives 30 denars for a smith. it used to be second highest giving town in any form
but now it doesnt give any more money. ive tried those wool setups and they dont give any money either. However the silversmith is highest giving now at ortysia, ortysia always used to be the richest in latest patches.
if u guys know more which definitely give good amount of money keep it coming.
There is always wars between borders in this game so..
