Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

Capture of city or castle should degrade building levels
Despite it being very rudimentary feature, I enjoy building up cities I own. However, this is done only once per game - then everything is updated forever.

Can we please have some destruction happening, where each time city or castle is captured at least 1 type of building loses a level to sacking? This way there always be something to build up.

I would also like to see more kinds of projects that you can build for bonuses. For example:

Windmills
Roads
Stables
Port and docks

I also would like to see ability to upgrade dungeons, perhaps first upgrade should be cell locks so it is not as easy to escape.

I might be wrong, but I thought if you destroy the walls in map mode that you have to repair the walls in govenor mode.
From what I have seen they auto-regenerate according to the level of siege workshop you have.
This is a great idea. And in conjunction with this, a 'sack and pillage' mode. If the attacker is successful, he/she gets a choice between occupying a town/castle or sacking it without occupying it for more cash and loot.

Yes, I would love to have capture but not keep option.

Sack it by carrying off everything that is not nailed to the floor.
Not a bad idea, but I'm not sure i can totally agree. Some damage that takes a a few days to repair or that you have to spend money on i have no issue with, but considering how bad the AI is at defense i think we'd all end up playing defense on our fiefs all the time instead of taking towns/castles from the enemy. We sure as heck couldn't count on the other Lords in our kingdom to fight off an attack if we aren't there to lead it.

They would also need to really work on the town mechanics first since your loyalty, prosperity, etc already go into a tail spin if a village or two gets raided. Can you imagine what it would be like to lose a level 3 fairgrounds, get it almost rebuilt, and then lose it again?

Sacking and pillaging towns has already been mentioned as a coming feature in one of the video updates, iirc.

EDIT:Just catching up on 1.5.8 changes. This is actually mentioned in it under battles and sieges.

This kind of stuff would be awesome.
>.> personally I really dislike the chances of lords escaping, it occurring in a town/castle is a big meh since it usually happens a week after they go there. What happen to factions msging me to ransom them? Not in banner lord I take it. >.> transporting nobles to a town... I feel like if they are ko’d aka they can’t fight (under 20percent) there should be zero chance of escaping
This is in 1.5.8 depending on what you choose after a siege.
