Can't find a wife for older brother
Anyone have any issue where if they try to find a spouse for their older brother there is no "very good" option just a "That might not work out" option?

asking a random noble that likes you doesnt always work as they may not have a female in their clan available for marriage. Best bet is sift through the clans in the encyclopedia and look for one through there and then go find the leader of that clan and make your proposal. They just have to not be married. If you want them to have kids, make sure you dont accidentally find an old hag. You cant tell that much from portraits since a woman/man in this game at the age of 70 do not look all that much different than a 20yr old.

The ones I've been asking definitely have females in there clan and it's usually their unmarried daughter. The younger brother is now old enough and the option to go forward with the match is there, but if I try and do the same match with the older brother I don't have the option to go forward.

Is the older brother still quest-locked by the Bannerlord quest? If you wait 10 years after game start for the quest to fail it becomes easier to find a bride for him, assign him as governor, etc. Odd design decision to use him as the quest giver instead of the old physician you rescue in the tutorial. As long as the Bannerlord quest is still active the older brother can be difficult to use as a regular family member. Rescue your younger siblings then wait 10 years for the main quest to fail out, then find a bride for your brother.

Yeah, that "task" he gave you is the bannerlord quest. While it is still active it kind of limits what you can do with older brother. The quest will time out on it's own after 10 years. The good news is the younger brother doesn't have any quest's associated with him.

If you've already married through the 'alliance' method with a noble, you won't be able to do so again with the brother.

I always marry my brother off with this method first, then find one for myself the manual way.
