A few questions about trade 300 perk and how to buy cheaper castles...
Does any charm/relation with the noble affects its selling price?
Reducing prosperity to the selected town affects the selling price?
Ty!

I am not entirely sure in vanilla since I am using a mod that uses that logic. If you grind yourself to 300 Trade.. I would highly recommend raising an elite party, wait for a rebellion, siege that town and once you conquered it.. you can use it as a barter to either trade it for another town or trade it for a few castles(only applies if the lord has 2 or more castles). Prosperity matters in bartering towns/castles.. less prosperity = lower value.. higher prosperity = higher value.

how do you even get to 300 doesn't it cap out early with 10 charm and full focus trade

it doesnt cap out, but you cant really get their legit. It would take hundreds of real world hours, without teleporting, or just flat out giving yourself the xp.

it's kinda not meant to be accessible yet, is my guess.

the speed nerfs, the trade nerfs, the herd nerf, the raising of the perk from 250 to 300 etc... all adds hundreds of real world hours onto it.

No one is gonna spend 200 hours real world, playing a walking sim... walking from town to town, to sell aserai horses.. just to hit 300.

but anyway, no charm does not affect price of towns. It is prosperity based (and maybe troop garrison too, but I didn't test it enough).

Edit: it does cap out.. but past 300. I believe most skills cap at 330.. but a few cap at their max "perk level". I forget which is which.

Well, i basically cheat it but in a way i dont consider really really cheat, considering the state of the trading tree xp.
Basically i did the following: how many levels do i earn in a hour? 20? thats fine. 1? thats NOT fine, so i use the character reload mod to set up the level just before to get the next level (you reach 225? i set it to 249). Since is much harder to reach 250 than 226, i can feel the next lvl up as a reward. Even with that, trying to lvl to 300 even if im 299 was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nightmare, so i never consider that as a cheat since i ve earned and destroyed vlandian economy to grind this broken perk.
And just to clarify if everyone was trying to make a trader build : DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME IN INVESTING 300 trade in the vanilla way!

PS: if someone wanted to know: ive spent like 5 and half hours to lvl up the last point of trade, and with big deals with horses and velvet.
