Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

Zobrazit statistiky:
No Tier 6 Infantry?
Vlandia - Vlandian Banner Knight T6 Cavalry
Sturgia - Sturgian Druzhinnik Champion T6 Cavalry
Khuzait - Khuzait Khan's Guard T6 Cavalry
Empire - Imperial Elite Cataphract T6 Cavalry
Aserai - Aserai Vanguard Faris T6 Cavalry
Battania - Battanian Fian Champion T6 Archer

Why didn't they make any of the noble troops melee based infantry? Battanian Fian Champion is the closest you can get because they are on foot and use 2H swords at close range.

Am I missing something?

I'd really like some proper T6 Infantry with level 260 melee skills and athletics etc. Some big burly types you can erect an unmovable shield wall with.

I suppose i'll just wait for a mod that has a T6 infantry tree.
I use one, i'll tell you the name later when i have time to look it up, but it adds some cool t6 inf especially Vlandia, it gives them a Landsknecht with a 2 hander and an Edelknecht with a sword and shield,

Cuz it would not work.

- Infantry is just here to be the anvil, to so you can crush them with cav & archers as the hammer. Good T4/T5 infantry is much better for this job : it's easier to stack them to make a big line than noble ones.

-It would take too long for not much of an improvement, they wouldn't perform much better than Legionaries. Armor wouldn't be effective enough to protect their high value, and higher skill wouldn't matter too much too in infantry fights, only armors & weapons most of the time (legionaries already have almost the very best armor parts & weapons)

-In warband some elite troops could work because very high level troops could have MUCH MORE melee skill than lower level, but also MUCH MORE HPS. In this game, the hps don't change much between a tier 1 and a tier 5.

TLDR : Infantry dies too fast, you need to have a lot of them to do the job, and it would not be much better (not even 5% better) than the best non noble infantry (legionaries) : 2 reasons why you would not want to invest a noble line into pure infantry.

Also : I would love to have elite infantry too, but first they need to rework some units scaling, troop outfitting and also maybe the way armor works (heard they are on it)

They can build the noble line infantry to be stronger, it isn't that hard of a fix. A t6 infantry would also be ridiculously strong in sieges. ALL of the t6 are hard to build en mass, so that point makes 0 sense.

Recommend to download "My little Warband"

https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/3164

You can make your own noble line of Infantry and export/import to any save file.
Recommendation use a already established troop tree from your favorite faction, rename it and modify to your liking.

I can second "My little Warband" , fantastic mod that lets you create your own troop tree, normal and noble. It transformed my last play-through, works flawlessly with ~20 mods I use. You can even use moded and crafted gear to equip your troops.
