Richest cities to sell smithed items to?
I've decided to try smithing for the first time to take advantage of the huge profits, and I have 3 two handed swords worth 109K each. But most cities have 20-42k gold on hand in the trade section. Do I just have to settle for 42k per sword, or are there cities that have more wealth than others? I suppose I could also buy back alot of items from them to balance it out, and sell those elsewhere. Any advice would be great, thanks!

No town has enough cash to buy those 100k swords and javelins. Some lords may buy them, but at a heavily discounted price. The only real use they have, other than using them yourself or giving them to companions, is for negotiating peace or buying fiefs, and these will be heavily discounted, too.

If you want full dollar for your wares, smith weapons that sell in the 10k-20k range.

Ah okay, fair enough. I didn't realise they could be used to negotiate and buy fiefs! For now since I'm at start of game and just want to make money and run my own group, I'm going to sell for 45k and then buy their best gear to make up the difference. In future I'll definitely use your advice with other lords/kingdoms though, thanks!

You can get 70-100k from some locations, but you just have to accept that you wont get the full sale value. Given that they cost only a few hundred denar to make, you are easily making a profit. I'll sell a 130k javelin for 20k if that's all they have.
Sanala, Sargot, Pravend, Orcs Hall, Epicrotea, Vostrum and Askar give me the best returns regularly, and are on my usual trade route.
As mentioned earlier, you get your best returns when you are buying expensive armour and weapons.
