Proximity voice chat would spring multiplayer to life
Change my mind

Seriously though, communication will change multiplayer to make it much more active.
I read that they would implement it a long time ago, but I really hope it isn't the last of their priorities.

idk about proximity, but team voice chat would help.

It would be really fun
Thank you for sharing your feedback, it has been noted and forwarded to the development team.
POG champ moment?

Ugh, all you'd get is hot micing people eating or arguments with their significant other/children/parents, and drum and/or bass blasted at full volume.

From Star Citizen and iRacing, to CoD and DayZ, voice chat is vile and filled with loud brats of all ages. If you want communications, join a clan that uses VC programs.

Plus can you imagine the poor connection quality? Isn't multiplayer laggy already?

It works in many games too, depends on the player base.
I know Warband had some persistent world mods where it would have made a huge difference to the gameplay. All that is needed is quick and seamless way to mute other players who abuse their mics.
