Tall vs Short
I am starting a new game and thinking to play a two handed warrior with shortest height possible. I suppose it makes you harder to hit by projectiles and give you better shield coverage. Which is better? Tall vs short

smaller characters = smaller target
bigger characters = longer arms = longer reach

I think??

I think??

but in theory if you're on a horse it might be easier cause closer to ground to start with right because the horses height would remain the same?

edit: also longer reach though it might be more difficult if opponent gets inside your killzone or body frame, cause you'd have to get longer/further seperation? Or is it farther... =(

My only concern is I would get more hits to the head in melee due to being shorter. Enemy troops wont need to aim higher for the head :steamhappy:

This is a good point I didn't consider, maybe making it harder to use longer spears as infantry, when people are hugging you it might be better to be a smallboi and not a bigboi.
the problem is we just don't know!

edit: it would be cool if this was explained in the game concepts of the encyclopaedia

In Warband this would be derived as having more strength or more agility, but it is another feature or element not present in Bannerlord.

I think taller people were treated with a bit more respect too, right? In conversations? Out of fear/awe, most likely, but that may have been from mods and not Native.

Think its just aesthetics and hit-box in Bannerlord.

In Reality simply beeing Bigger (with no significant difference in Muscle Density and such) you would have the Reach Advantage.

With a significant difference in Muscle Density you would even be a lot stronger, while there wouldnt be a real difference for Speer or Agility( except we talk a "Hulk Hogan" like Bodybuilder Typ compared with a Thin but trained dude thant there might be).

So basicly a Shorter, Smaller Charakter would have only the Advantage of beeing a smaller Target for Arches and such, since in Meele Combat your most Vulnarble Bodypart, the Head would be exposed while u got a Reach disadvantage.

The Idea of Smaller People are more flexible or faster and such things, arnt really a real thing at least if you doesnt go out the Boundrys of a Normal Trained Man.
If you come to specific/special Trained People, like some extrem Sportsman, Bodybuilder, 100m Runers or such, there could be a Difference which might have Impact but as i said for the Normal People the Difference isnt so big that it would have a significant impact. And as far as i know you cant make a real "Dwarf" or "Arnie in his Golden Day" Character anyway ^^
