my personal recommendations would be:

2h Swords on Hip (if you dont like having them on your back like i do)

item mods you need the cheat menue for but you can use to make your own unit mods like i did:

there are also mods which do use swadian amroury as ressource for units but i cant recommend them since i dont use them.

Edit: not really a recommendation since i have not used this mod yet but in case somebody is interested today someone released a cape similar to the cape the guy in the main menue of the game is wearing on the nexus:

Basically wanting mods that are being kept up to date, I got frustrated before because mods would just stop being supported by the latest patches

I haven't played Bannerlord for a few months and I really want to.. I just can't find the time to sit down and go through mods on Nexus.

Without looking on tracked mods on Nexus, and just glancing at my old Vortex mods folder, I can suggest you a few but they are most likely outdated.

Xorberax's mods, QoL mods called "true" mods (True Prisoners, Perks, Relations, Companions), Distinguished Service, Calradia at War, Calradia Expanded, Boogie's Troop Upgrades, .. GayMarriage, Za Warudo (stopping time).

Much more but I forgot. I recommend troop tree mods the most.
