Smithing hammer longer than my spear!
A looter with a tiny smithing hammer insta killed me because my 200 length spear couldnt reach him. From now on I will use smithing hammer while mounted!

I hate the measurement system Taleworlds use as I hate the Imperial system Americans use.
Metric man... Just use metric. Weapon stat says the lenght is 210. What is 210? If it was 2.10, I could guess meters? So I always struggle to find the sweet spot inbetween the lenght and handling. If its too long, sure it will reach enemy, but the handling?

The other problem is that on a horseback you dont need to lean to the direction you're attacking. But unfortunately in Bannerlord you do, unlike Warband. Thats how you get exposed to enemy counter-attacks on horseback.

You are right, my character is exposing himself too much while striking from horseback. Due to inefficient holding of spear even a tiny length weapon can reach and kill you. Looter with smithing hammer is the best anti cavalry unit of the world! :steamlaughcry:

The best weapon is the Glaive on horseback, has great reach and damage. The reach of weapons is very strange in this game. Tiny weapons seem to hit you easily while your big weapons really struggle to connect given how long they are supposed to be.

Either way, horseback fighting is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar more difficult than it was in Warband.
