Mod tools not working ANSWERED
Looked through a couple of other guides the users say just use Ctrl + E to open the editor but this doesn't work for me. I have verified the integrity of both the game and the editor. Launching the mod tool brings me to the same menu as normal bannerlord but launching it does nothing. Launching normal bannerlord and using Ctrl + E does not work. If anyone can help me out in a more specific manner than just "Ctrl + E forehead" it would be greatly appreciated.

Have you made sure you aren't in the beta build? It doesn't support the beta I don't think at least not yet, and I think the tools and game have to be the same version as each other.

I just checked and both versions in their respective launch menus are: e1.5.2.242012

Not sure then, it works fine for me. I just go into the singleplayer menu from the launcher and left ctrl + e takes me to the editor. I've got no mods or anything installed, make sure that's the case I guess.

I'm uninstalling the game and reinstalling currently, hopefully this helps but thanks for the help. Maybe I am just mentally handicapped and shouldn't try making mods lmao. Also already said I verified the files. :steamhappy:

I had to install the mod tools into the same steam library and then you can launch it through steam and when you get to the main menu hit ctrl-E

To use the mod tools.

-download the modding kit of bannerlord
-Put the main bannerlord to the main version that is currently being used.
-Launch the modding kit(This works the same as Bannerlord)
-When in the main menu press *CTRL+E* This will open the Scene editor and what more.

The problem myself and other users have is that pressing Start after launching the Bannerlord mod kit.

Okay it looks like some windows file is missing to run C++ programms. I fixed it by downloading Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 from microsoft.

doublepost: My missing file was : MSVCP120.DLL . you can see what you are missing when you go into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\bin\Win64_Shipping_wEditor" and start Bannerlord.Native.exe

Hey, mine says the same as yours and I've installed Visual C++ Redistributable Packages, the x86 version. How did you actually recover the file? (Bit new to the scene, so sorry for being dumb)

Someone in the forum mean it works only for nvidia gpu?
For me the tools work. So maybe this could be a reason? Don't know what you have.

This smells of a broken mod kit tool release guys, and not only that it seems this tool interferes with other software installed namely some vs installations, what a load of bs im putting this on ice and waiting 1-2 months, its clearly not ready for relaese the mod tools/kit whatever.:noway:

if tw or anyone else expects normal users to go through all that, very dissapointing of tw
