Brother and Sister die immediately after they join me

Immediately after picking them and Nogand up at the city, both are killed but the game doesn't say why. Anyone else have this happen? Seems strange they both die immediately.

Did you choose to execute the bandit that helped you? That happened to me when i first chose this option

Yes, if you kill Radagoz, the siblings die. If you recall, he (Radagos) did say his men have some very specific instructions should harm come to him. Even after they are rescued, he has a long reach.

When you first speak with Tectates he mentions Radagos in controlling several gangs, not just this one.

I executed Radagos (beta 1.5.1) and my siblings did not die. Currently have the sister in my party and the younger brother is still <18.

Well thats nice. Sure they didn't add that to the beta update? Either way, if its a bug or not, this happens when you execute the guy in the current version.

They infact commit seppuku, after little brother tells his sister that they dont have any further purpose in this game, and she replies by saying they dont even have such dialogue options and this conversation should not exist in first place.
Big bro doesnt do that only because, he awaits the death of the main character, so he can replace him.

Edit: Sorry, because corona I've been at home watching anime, up to a point I started giving bugs their own plot twists.

They do have a purpose, in my last two games, including my current one. They are part of my party. They function has a companion, yet do not use a companion slot.

Should be able to recruit him with a charm check. For those who are going bandit route. We really need to be able to make our own hideouts on the map for item storage and banditry.

I actually let him live and they were killed.

I can confirm that this is some kind of bug. I let him live since he helped save them and they immediately died after leaving the scene and despite the brother saying they lived and he would take them to another city. I reloaded the auto save and once loaded they were alive, and the bother was waiting in a completely different city.The sister was 14 and brother is 12, if that makes any difference.
