And has been the #1 seller on steam for 4 weeks in a row beating flight simulator and horizon zero dawn.

Now you fan boys are going to froth at the mouth screaming “they are different games” well yes and no. The main similarity in both games is that they are a niche in their market that has not been capitalized on. (mario party does not count because it is only on nintendo)


There are multiple reason why you messed up which I will post,

1.released a buggy unplayable game
2. released a buggy unplayable game at full price
3. “early access”
4. lack of a decent multiplayer (social games are as important as single player games)
5. lack of decent updates (fall guys is already releasing season 2 with new maps in less than a month!!!)


Fall guys peak player count is only 170,000 on steam whereas mount and blade bannerlord was over 200,000. The difference is fall guys is PLAYABLE meaning twitch streamers can play the game and advertise it to their viewers.

You lost the hype train by release an unplayable game at full price and this game will be dead before it is ever completed.

Your greed to cash in early has actually lost you sales and you know it.

But, for humoring the poster, let me tell you what Fall Guys consists of.

Fall Guys consists of far, far less things to make up a game then what Bannerlord does. Fall Guys just has to worry about multiplayer backend optimization and maybe continuous map/skin creation- of which maps are easily creatable with them already having to just reuses assets.

Fall Guys consists of a few small things, many more small things to where if they take even a MONTH or two without new content, is unexcusable, unlike a much bigger game with heavier code.

- Physics Engine
- Literally just triggers to act as respawns/'death' zones/the win zones
- Map content creation of which is rather easy considering they can reuse assets, like they do in all their maps already.
- All of the "game mode" functionality of Fall Guys is literally something that Unity engine itself has without much of any coding involved.

These forums are for discussing Bannerlord, not advertising other games, good or bad.

Besides, this thread will most likely be taken down since advertisement is generally against the forum rules. A ban wouldn't be surprising either.
(This is not only true for the Bannerlord forums, but all other game forums aswell)

Remember when Fortnite wasnt a battle royal but Player Unknown Battlegrounds came out and was super popular being the first battle royal basically, then Fortnite changed its entire game into a battle royal? Well Fall Guys is the next Fortnite maybe. Or i dont know but its interesting.

Fall Guys is alot more fun to watch than Fortnite. I watched Fortnite for a total of 1 minute once, but it is fun watching Fall Guys.

As for how this relates to M&B well it has to do with magic and dragons.

Yes "Fall Guys" means the guys that are wrongfully set up to take the blame instead of the bad guys. Can also mean stunt doubles in Hollywood but the first is most accurate and what the TV show title meant.
