Lots of characters have the same name

Especially there is such a mistake in the imperial nobles. For example, the name of all female characters in a clan is Phenoria. Many patches were thrown, this error did not pass, many times I opened a new save and new game, but it still occurs. Not only the character name I specified but also different 2 or more characters have another same name. Is this just a problem with me or are there other players experiencing the same problem? And if anyone knows the solution, can they share it?

I did the instructions you told to me but it doesnt fix. I verified the game files on steam but the bug still occurs, i dont know the patch no but after a patch some new NPC's added to game and i guess these NPC's are the bugged one. I think many other players having the same issue. I'm not intendig to spam bad comment i just sending as a bug report to develope more. I love playing bannerlord and I wish you will find a solution soon to my problem.

im pretty sure the legion minor clans leader is called nomos and there is also a lord of the empire who is called nomos too

ive not seen it a huge amount but I assume there is a name pool for lesser lords which is where the problem lies I can easily be fixed (i think) with a check system as a lord is made which looks if another lord has the same name

Not much hope there. I imagine they just use the same pool as for the player character, and that pool is a bit shallow. Easy to fix, though, too.

Whatever is described in the OP appears to be different from that.

I have no mods and when I started writing this, I was in main line 1.4..2, but I see that an update has come in, and now I am in 1.4.3.

no, one phenoria is enough at the beginning. Sometimes babies having same name with an already existing NPC but its not problem. You are in the good way

I've expanded the pool for the generation of names for myself, but that only affects the newborns.

Doubt it. These look like they're there from the start of the game, so the name pool is not at fault.

OP, everyone who spawns at the start of the game is listed in a single .xml file that list all the noble NPCs, plus whatever mods - including appearance mods - that you added on top of that.

I suggest wiping those vanilla files and then verifying integrity to download clean versions of them. Before you do, for research purposes, try checking if multiple Phenorias are listed in there. There should only be one.

I still found the issue, it was the mod "Noble Nobles".

I use no mods now and I've met such duplication.
