This crap is starting to look like a scam to me.
We went from daily updates to hotfixes once every fourteen days. Are they still developing this thing or what?

They were doing a massive code rework. Probably still working on it some. Trying to get the whole thing cleaned up on the backend to speed up the updating process. It sucks, and should have been done before EA release, but should help in the long run.

They are doing a code refactor; that means they found a systemic problem that can not be fixed easily in the code base so that an entire part of the framework needs to be re-written in a different algorithmic way to mitigate the problem. This could take a while and would preclude updates.

Sounds verbose and unnecessarily complex.

Care to simplify that?

More time efficient to rewrite part of that code than to bandaid fix it. Or, at the very least, is less of a hassle. But, it still is a lot of work. That's what I kind of get from that reply.

Simplify?
When you build a instabil card house you have to rebuild some cards to make it more stable.

Re-skinning the cat.

I think somebody is doing something, it is crashing a lot more on my end. I'll try an uninstall and reinstall for now. about 98% of crashes upon clicking "attack". What can I do to make this not happen and still play?

Thanks for the turd, Taleworlds.

In the long run it will be worth the money due to the dedicated modding community. The sooner TW releases mod tools and stops patching the sooner we will get a great game. So anywhere from 2 to 4 years.

Well like all EA, once you get the bulk of any income you are going to get why bother investing money and time to any serious extent?

EA never gets the bulk of money you are going to get...Lots and lots of people completely avoid EA. This EA had no advertising. Pretty much only if you already knew about Bannerlord, really wanted it, and are the sort to support EA would you buy it.

Some people should not be allowed to buy EA releases...

Dunno most people view EA as the release since quite often EA never ends and the game is essentially abandoned. This game is already graphically old. In 3 years it will be even more so. I suspect they got most their sales up front already. This was a top seller. Not any more.

I mean, it should not matter. Any person with a brain that sees that negative reviews are people complaining about bugs in a EA title, should just ignore that comment. I never cared about negative reviews like that and honestly these complaints and reviews are always the minor part in EA games. Thankfully most people know what they are getting into and depending their patience, they complain only then a really long time of the devs not churning out new updates or posting some news they start complaining and go negative.

For Bannerlord, I have not lost faith in all these years I have been waiting (although I did stop thinking about it eventually), so there is no way not that a playable version is out, I will worry they will stop updating it.
