My caravan is not working
I started a caravan and it is not reporting any expenses or profits in the box that shows expenses and money. I have found it around the map and it shows up in the caravans section of the clan page so I know it didn't get attacked or anything. Is it a bug or do I need to keep waiting?

I waited a little while and it started to produce a small amount of income but not near as much as my caravans have in a previous play through. The caravans earnings also frequently do not show up on the income category. I am barely able to support my army and the wages for my caravan spiked to over 1000 denars for one day and almost bankrupted me. Why is it behaving this way?

I have the same problem. On my last game caravans always made at least some noticeable profit but on my new game even after some weeks still nothing.
Did they change something with caravans in the last patches? Seems caravans are nerfed to uselessness.

Which champion is leading your caravans? The best are The Swift and The SpiceVendor types with high trade and high steward. It also depends on the prosperity of the city you start in. And as they build up experience (trade skills) they will improve. When started it takes time to build up but at some point it will ramp up to over a 1000 G a day per caravan.

It is a Spicevendor! The caravan started in Rovalt and had time for about a year but no noticeable profits so far.

Now she lost a battle and is back in my party and I don't even have 15000 gold to form a new caravan. LOL

It is really funny, on my last game I made millions with caravans and this time I can't even afford my army.

That is exactly what is happening to me and it is extremely frustrating.

I think sometimes if they are travelling far they won't of sold anything so of course there is no profit to cash in on. That's just my guess though. Caravans are meant to be risky at the end of the day. Sometimes my caravans in my current playthrough don't make much, then other times of the in-game year they bring in serious profit.

it must be a bug; I got the same problem; has nothing to do with risk or anything
Normally you either make or lose money and it shows just that on the finance tab but now it shows nothing. Even if the caravan was even in expenses and sales it would normally still show a +0 now it just shows nothing

Those named Spicevendor and the Swift are the best companions to run your caravans, but if they haven't shown up yet, there are alternatives. Your brother has good trade skills, and many spouses do, too.

only companions can run a caravan so your brother/family members do nothing when buying a caravan i look at all companions non have trade skills i dont have spicevender or swift showing up on my past 2 games so i am force to build there trade skills up but its hard to do ♥♥♥♥ when you can only put skills/perks on when there in your party an not running a caravan
