fertility and age relation?
Hello, I try for the third time to conquer caladria. Everytime I married other girl. Now I am married to Lina that I have heard that in case of some players became a mother to numerous childrens. I have her in my party for couple of monts but she is not getting pregnant. And I started to wonder if it can have something to do with her age and my age. She is 30 now and I am 32 or something like this. Can you check your saves and see if it can be the issue? Has anyone actually found out what is the mechanism behind the pregnancy seeing that there is some factor called fertility (you can increase it with medicine perk). Is that fertility determined once for a game for a character or how does it works? I hope to trains some children for governors however the later I will start having them te longer I will be forced to wait for them to grow up. I have never get further than them having 8 or 9 years. I will appreciate your insights.

i have seen womens from other lords with an age of 41 getting pregnant / a baby.

so there is no garantie and the younger the better ;-)
but it shouldnt be a problem.
There's probably a lot of randomity, try staying in settlements or castles for a while with your SO in your party, have wine and beer in your inventory, that should do the trick

They reduced the chance of pregnancy by quite a lot in one of the recent patches. I have noticed that my characters are now having far fewer children than they did before that patch.

Pre- patch I was having up to 20+ children per character. Now I'm finding that some characters are not having any children at all despite being married and in the same party as their wife.

Its just all down to RNG.

In my game my wife didn't have our first child until we had been married for 3 years. Now we have 8 children, the last one was born when she was 39 and I was 55. Be patient and just play your campaign, you'll get a notification when it happens.

I am playing Vlandia and married the Kings daughter Elys. You can bring her to battle but you would rather stall her in your town and mage it while breeding kids :) I did marry Liena in a previous campaign but she got smashed of her horse while being pregnant...did turn out well for the stats of the kids hehe

You know what the sad part is? When you're out in the field and she's in the castle with a bunch of dudes and, lo and behold, knocked up again. I'm supposed to believe that little bastard is mine?

lmao, well woman knows it when she has missed one or two periods, so, if you've been away for three months then it's some other dude

Lol, I dont think the beer had anything to do with it. I'm sure its just waiting with your spouse somewhere.

Then again, I ALWAYS have beer in my inventory so there might just be something there...

Having children is part of the game and for prolonged play you need them so they should add a box to tick for more children and for the player who want to be a immortal let them stop ageing. I personally like the clan system and families it add more depth and this game needs depth.
