Buy weapons for gang leader quest

so i got quest from oshir the fish at Omor to get 8 one handed axes and hell pay good monies for it.
being smartass i desided to craft the axes instead to see if it works i made 8 cheapest crafted axes.
i left town to kill looters came back bribed the guards... (greedy basterd)
tried to return quest, dialoque went fine until it was supposed to end and take axes and give gold.
proceeded to crash to freeze with bug debug window on background.

i loaded autosave no broblem made new axes but for some reason they no longer count
bought axes nope nothing gets the quest progress to move from 0/8

any work arounds to finish the quest?
