Game Crash with Vortex Launcher without MODS

Hey guys! I am sorry if this was asked already, I just couldnt fine the thread.

Everytime I start the game via Vortex Launcher , i can go until the menu. Then it crashes everytime i click something.
I started the game via vortex Launcher WITHOUT any mods.

When i start it through steam, it works fine. Can anyone help me?

Still, wouldn't worry too much, just don't use Vortex to start the game, certainly when not using mods

it starts crashing without any mods activated, just by starting the game via vortex launcher.

so it has to do with vortex launcher in general..i dont know how to fix that.

But why would you want to start the game with Vortex when not using mods? When it works perfectly when launching it through Steam? I don't get that. Don't forget that Vortex is still basically in beta stage, and support for Bannerlord has just been added, so it's probably not very stable anyway.

And if you really want to know, I suggest making a post on Nexus forums about it.

did u instal fixed launcher ? it may couse problem when u starting from vortex.

@Snowleken because i want to get starting it with mods but first it should work without. i already tried with and - no wonder - it didnt work.

Have you tried reinstalling it? I have no issues with running the game through Vortex myself, although I haven't tried running Vortex without mods. Then again, I almost always launch the game through Steam unless I just (re)installed a new mod and Vortex is open anyway.

If it doesn't work, again, I'd suggest just using Vortex to manage your mods, and then run the game through Steam - your mods should work fine.

EDIT: Just tried running the game through Vortex because it has been a while, and it still works fine for me. What are your launch setting in Vortex dashboard for Bannerlord? Do you use the official launcher and when exactly does it crash/freeze?

i stopped using mods because they made my game unstable . The games not even finished. Every time they gather data after a crash it's not giving correct information as mods are part of that information. I like mods and used the m but were slowing the game development down.

Late to the party but if someone else has these issues:

I had similar problems but after some troubleshooting found that Vortex added the standard "mods" (ie Native, Sandbox) in the wrong order. By changing the load order I resolved the issue with starting the game with Vortex without mods.

For me the reason why to start Vortex without mods was to troubleshoot why my mods didn't work which means go back to the latest known stable run, which in my case was no mods enabled. The reason why my mods didn't work: Vortex sorted the frigging standard components in the wrong load order!

Lol now a year later happened to me too, thnx for your anwser. I never expected vortex to mess up the basic load order.
