What's the point of prisoners in towns?
So what do you do with the prisoners in your towns or castles? Cause in my game they are just sitting there doing nothing but just accumulating.

Top tier troops usually take too long to convert, but tier 2-4 prisoners are a viable source of portable reinforcements. It requires some patience, but in my current game I've built a force of just over 100 vlandian cavalry by holding onto all the gallants, knights and light cavalry i captured and carrying them along until i could convert them. I do the same thing with infantry prisoners, but they stay locked up in my castles most of the time and only get carried along when i pull my infantry army out of garrison to go do a siege.

You don't have nobles escaping?

Normally prisoners donated to any faction dungeon gives you influence, perhaps you may want to stockpile prisoners for recruitment later.

And its a great way to give your enemy fresh troops when they capture your city!

So I'm just stockpiling my prisoners in my town? They're not going to be auto converted?

they will not and it is strange

The reason prisoners are in your town is because nobles put them in your dungeons to gain influence, it's like a gift. Just sell or convert them. For nobles, putting them in a dungeon reduces their chance of escaping.

Thanks y'all. I'll just start selling the ones I won't be converting then :D
