It does, but doesn't have the potential to kill multiple people with one swing. I actually prefer the Rhomphalia, as you can safely fly around the battlefield on your horse, keeping a safe distance, cleaving people in two, but it's quite satisfying running around the battlefield with 150+ athletics, cutting massive swathes through enemy lines while they freak out in total horror.

I tried most of two handeds, and i only really did a difference when i used Executioners Axe. It was custom smithed tho, don't know if it counts. It really destroys the masses in seconds if you land your swings.

I think it was in 1.1 or 1.2, you could put hammer head on long spear shafts to make a real long Polo stick. I couldn't find it at 1.3, that was quite fun. Much longer (around 260) than the only craftable 2 handed hammer there is.

I wonder why the falx isn't mentioned. It's fast, does heavy hits, even has decent length.

I am currently using black heart axe. I can take out 3-4 guys in one swing. I am happy with it.

I crafted myself a Heavy Executioner Axe with +7 Total stat bonus, it wrecks people. Two handed swords and polearms are great too , sadly they kill only one per swing so I stick to axes.

By the way: Do you still get a wide variety of 2h weapons when starting a new clean save on 1.2 ? In my games only 2h Axes are produced. The 2h Swords are all gone besides Tournaments.

i haven't seen any in shops on 1.3

As usual. Pump your smithing with relevant perks. Then smelt and craft until you unlock it. It's a tier 5 head.

Or you can cheat yourself as many executioner axes as needed and smelt them until you unlock it.
