Mods for an unfinished game? That's just asking for trouble, isn't it? :maxout:

Yah, that could be it....but they are updating the game so fast I figured the mods I see being used are good to go. I;ll look into that though. Thanks

Yah I guess. Maybe I should just stop watching all the cool YouTube videos that are using mods too.

The most common cause is not unlocking the dlls.

When people ask for help but dont list version/beta, what mods, are they using fixed launcher? etc lol
Update developer console if you have not for weeks
FOR STANDARD BELOW
Mixed gender requires no update so far, invisible helmet requires no update so far, mobdb tweaks, requires no update so far, DCC body sliders needs no update so far, detailed character creation requires no updates so far
Hope it helps :v
Also do any of your mods get sorted above native

as of 1.3 beta nearly all mods crash the game. there does not seem to be a workaround yet.

I do hope for a hotfix that might accidentially fix this (and give us the banner paste option back)

It's not a big deal as I presume it to be temporarily.

Thanks, i thought it was just me doing things wrong. Vanilla is fine but mods rock!

Lel, the trick to having a bunch of mods, is getting them from nexus mods, using the vortex launcher, making sure you have the load order fix mod, modlib, unlock dlls, AND whatever the mod page has for requirements(it's like the tab you'll find the mod files in). Once you have a bunch of mods that you like and have confirmed they don't overlap in terms of affecting the same systems in-game(for example, running two mods that allow for your attacks to clips through enemies, dealing damage to all whom your weapon goes through), you'll want to have them all installed and elevated, and then you start creating new campaigns and loading into the world, disabling mods you think might be crashing your game. You do this until your game works without crashing after creating a campaign and loading in. Then you reinstall all the mods you uninstalled other than the one you found out was crashing the game, and you hope that they'll all work together. If they do, good! If they don't, then take all the mods that you just reinstalled and do the same trick of uninstalling them and creating new campaigns with each uninstall until your game works. You do this until you have all the mods you can possibly have while still having the game function. You may find at this point that certain aspects of the game will make your game crash. At that point, you do something similar, but you have to think about what made the game crash(or see it in the crash report) and go mess around until your problem is fixed.

Have fun modding everyone!!!!

Thanks the First. I do have Vortex and I have Nexus and other modding sites which I use. I just wondered if there was something obvious I was missing. I guess tedium is not something you can get around when modding. But that's ok, I get it. You all have been helpful and I thank you greatly!

Your welcome! I hope you get your mods sorted out, because a modded playthrough is just so much fun.

Must be a job if you mod...always having to go back a fix the mod when new updates come out. Someone should give them a job.
