Black Banner for Ai

Dunno if its a bug or not but I've hired some of them minor clans via contracts and when they join my faction their banners that show originally change to a plain black banner once they have joined me, any idea's why?

no Banner mods at all , all I done is used that offical custom banner for my own clan.

i know whats going on. using the bannerlord.party setting your back ground and very most bottom piece are youre primary and secondary banner colours. if you create a kindgom with them being the same colour you will forever have blank allies. sucks because i like to use the vlandian plate over mail (with the lion) with matching colours to hide it. would like to see a mod to remove it.
