I can't kill a lord in battle even with the death option turned on
I think the title did the job but lemme explain further; when i kill a lord in a battle which happens sometimes, they don't die, they just become wounded as they do without this death activation. In kill feed and the score board, they can be seen as dead, not wounded, but after the battle they're miraculously alive and surrendering.

I wonder if I'm alone or not

If it did get implemented as things currently stand, whole clans would be probably obliterated within the first couple of months resulting in massive snowballing. Currently, field battles can have extremely high casualty rates (like, 16 people surviving without serious injury out of over 1000...) because they never yield even when obviously outmatched, and never try to retreat in good order but only group by group when they're already shattered.

i assume there is a chance where you can kill a lord or not. I guess 80 or 70 percent of the time they become injured, at the rest they die. At least thats what wouldve happened if its actually implemented

I don't think it is supposed to work for anyone but you and your companions.

I'm playing on the latest beta and I've noticed that if you beat a faction leader he just vanishes and shows up elsewhere, not even an option to take him prisoner.

Next patch is supposed to address some stuff regarding enemy lords and prison time.

It said my companion died in battle, so I went to buy another surgeon/healer, but then I noticed she didn't die so now I have two.

that death option is called like hero death or something. it applies to the heroes in the game (those guys at taverns you can hire as companions). that option makes it so they have a chance to die in battle

Yes it includes them but it also includes Lords, ladies, your kids, and you. Anyone who's not a troop is a hero. But since the game is broken af nothing works properly

Just so you know the death option was never intended for enemy lords. This was meant for yourself as in "iron mode".
